Mischief La-Bas
Mischief La-Bas have been ‘gently warping the underlay of the fabric of society’ since their creation in 1992, presenting interactive walkabout theatre – where performers improvise directly with the public. They perform regularly throughout Scotland, the UK and occasionally as far abroad as Venezuela! As well as being well known for their walkabout characters such as The Elvis Cleaning Company, The Paparazzi (pictured below) and The Old Retainers, the company has also won wide acclaim for its larger scale projects and international collaborations including the performance installation Peeping at Bosch which was shortlisted for the prestigious Scottish Critic’s Awards 2009.
